The ECM Private Billing (EC) Course is a free basic introduction to Private Billing in South Africa.
This course is designed as a quick overview to staff who are new to Private Billing. It can be completed as a basic introduction before moving onto the more focused billing courses such as the ICD 10 coding course or the Workman's Compensation course.
The course consists of a single 14 minute video, which covers the following topics:
- Introduction to Private billing
- Explanation of NHPRL
- Basic overview of funders and Medical aids
- Introduction to ICD 10 and tariff codes
PLEASE NOTE:
- You will be automatically enrolled in the course once payment has been completed
- Login details will be sent directly to your email address
- Enrolment in the course is valid for 2 months* (i.e. you will have 2 months of access to the online videos and teaching content)
* If you complete the course before 2 months you will still have access to the videos until the enrolment expires. If you have not completed the course in the allotted time, you can request an extension. The limited access to the teaching material promotes increased focus and engagement with the content which encourages increased retention of the teaching content.
